JOIN FOREST HILL PTA


Forest Hill PTA welcomes you to a new school year. We look
forward to making the 2008-2009 school year an exciting one
for our children. Our PTA provides a very special link
between the school and home. Please be part of this
worthwhile organization by joining PTA today. Forest Hill
PTA works as a team to enhance every child’s educational
opportunities and experience by supporting school programs
both inside and outside of the classroom. Forest Hill PTA
has financially supported many activities and programs,
including the following:

Field trips for each grade level

School assemblies

Additional materials for the school library

Parent Education

Scholastic Weekly readers for each grade level

 Family Nights

Supplemental funds for each teacher

Forest Hill student garden

The PTA meets monthly with the first meeting on Wednesday,
September 3, 2008 at 7:00pm.  Babysitting is provided at no charge for  PTA attendees. The
remainder of the school year, meetings will be the second
Wednesday of the month. See school calendar for updates.
Attending PTA meetings is one sure way to keep informed as
to what is happening at Forest Hill and to voice your
opinions and suggestions. Please check out our update
website at www.campbellusd.org/~foresthill.

Dues for the 2008-2009 school year are $15 per member or $25
for 2 (two) members. Each membership entitles you to one
vote at PTA meetings and a free copy of the School Telephone
Directory. One membership counts for all children in your
family. **This year the PTA is offering a Gold Membership
for a donation of $100. This donation includes your
membership dues for 1 or 2 members, the school directory,
and one free Forest Hill school year book. See attached
membership form for more details.

Please return the attached page and your check before
September 30. Please make check payable to Forest Hill
PTA.

The success of our PTA in supporting our children and school
depends on our volunteers.

Don't forget....Our first meeting will be held on Wednesday,
September 3rd , 7-8:30 p.m. We will be discussing our plans
for the year and approving the initial budget. All future
PTA meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month
in the cafeteria. With free babysitting for all PTA
attendees..
