Visitors are always welcome at meetings of the Governing Board, and their suggestions and comments are encouraged.  Those wishing to address the Board may do so when the item appears on the agenda, prior to action being taken by the Board, or under "Communications."  Oral Communications will be limited to three (3) minutes per person and twenty (20) minutes per topic.

 

If you wish to address the Board, we request that you complete an "Oral Communications" form giving your name, address, and affiliation, if any, in order that an accurate record can be made in the minutes.

 

In compliance with Education Code ¤54957.5, non-exempt documents and writings that have been distributed to a majority or all of the Governing Board in advance of a meeting will be made available for public inspection at the District Office (155 North Third Street, Campbell) during normal business hours.

    It is recommended that the Governing Board accept the following donations:

 

á      $2,000.00 donated by the Campbell ChildrenŐs Theater foundation to support the elementary drama program for the 2010-2011 school year;

á      $75.00 donated by PG&E Corporation Foundation to benefit the instructional program at Castlemont Elementary School;

á      $300.00 donated by the Country WomanŐs Club to benefit the music program at Campbell Middle School;

á      $50.00 donated by the Campbell Express, Sally Howe, to benefit the music program at Campbell Middle School;

á      $1,949.00 donated by Village School PTA to fund a position supporting the Language Arts program at Village School;

á      $150.00 donated by Mr. & Mrs. Alan Hase to purchase equipment for Technology class at Rolling Hills Middle School;

á      $25.07 donated by Free Cause to benefit the instructional program at Capri Elementary School;

á      $4,626.99 donated by Village School PTA to fund a position supporting the Music and Art program at Village School;

á      $70.66 donated by Washington Mutual BankŐs WaMoola for Schools to benefit the instructional program at Campbell Middle School;

á      $57,006.00 donated by Marshall Lane PTA to fund positions supporting Literacy/PE, Library Services, Tech Support Services for the 2010-11 school year.

 

11.4    Authorization to Purchase Computers

 

                        It is recommended that the Governing Board authorize Administration to purchase Apple computers for teachers and staff through the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA).

 

11.5    Resolution 2010-11-01, Resolution to Establish Measure G Building Fund

 

It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-01, Resolution to Establish Measure G Building Fund.

 

 

            11.6    Resolution 2010-11-02, Resolution Requesting Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara to Establish Tax Rate for Bonds of the Campbell Union School District Expected to be Sold During Fiscal Year 2010-11, and Authorizing Necessary Actions in Connection Therewith   

It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-02, resolution requesting Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara to establish tax rate for bonds of the Campbell Union School District expected to be sold during fiscal year 2010-11, and authorizing necessary actions in connection therewith.

 

            11.7    Resolution 2010-11-03, Resolution Declaring Results of School Bond Election Held on June 8, 2010      

 

It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-03, Resolution Declaring Results of School Bond Election Held on June 8, 2010.

 

11.8    Resolution 2010-11-04, Disposition of Obsolete Instructional Materials

 

It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-04 for disposition of obsolete instructional materials property.

 

            11.9    Contract and Resolution 2010-11-05, Child Care and Development Program:  General Childcare Contract and Authorized Agreement Signatory and Fiscal Agent

 

                        It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-05, and approve General Childcare Contract and Authorized Agreement Signatory and Fiscal Agent.

 

            11.10  Contract and Resolution 2010-11-06, Child Care and Development Program:  California State Preschool Contract and Authorized Agreement Signatory and Fiscal Agent

 

                        It is recommended that the Governing Board adopt Resolution 2010-11-06, and approve Child Care and Development Program: California State Preschool Contract and Authorized Agreement Signatory and Fiscal Agent.
