Celebrate Campbell Union School District's

RISING YOUNG AUTHORS

Wednesday, November 20, 2013 @ 7 p.m.

Campbell Union School District's 11th Annual Rising Young Authors awards and book-signing event is slated for Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at 7 p.m.

NEW LOCATION: Barnes & Noble Bookstore, 3600 Stevens Creek Blvd. (corner of Stevens Creek Blvd. and San Tomas Expwy.), in San Jose.

The Rising Young Authors are a select group of students whose exemplary short stories and poems were among hundreds entered in the District’s annual Writing Faire. Judges review the eligible entries for technical excellence, focus, structure, use of creative expression, vocabulary, word combinations, and originality in ideas and/or presentation of ideas. Only one author is chosen per school per year in grades 3 through 7.

Sponsors of the awards program include Campbell Union School District, Barnes & Noble, and the Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga.
