Learning Advanced Technology at Monroe

Monroe Middle School teachers and students are learning to use advanced technology through a new agreement between Campbell Union School District and Cabrillo College-based MakersFactory.

New STEAM Center teaches 3D design and printing, game design, and more

Teachers and students are learning to use advanced technology and think like engineers in the STEAM Center at Monroe Middle School. With lessons that teach Common Core Standards, 21st Century Skills development and Next Generation Science Standards, the STEAM Center team is providing onsite training and support for teachers. They began after school classes for students last spring. Classes include 3D design and printing, Minecraft Hacking, Video Game design, and Minecraft Build Club.
