THROWBACK THURSDAY - Moorpark School (649 Thornton Way, San Jose) and San Tomas School (1100 Hacienda Ave, Campbell) were both built in 1947 and opened in 1949. Jacob Fischer was the principal of San Tomas School from 1953-1966. Jack Fischer Park is named in his honor.
JUEVES DE ANTAÑO - La Escuela Moorpark (649 Thornton Way, San José) y la Escuela San Tomas (1100 Hacienda Ave, Campbell) fueron construidas en 1947 y abrieron en 1949. Jacob Fischer fue el director de la Escuela San Tomas de 1953 a 1966. El Parque Jack Fischer lleva su nombre en su honor.

Thanks to a generous grant from @readingisfundamental and Amazon, the Lynhaven Lynx were treated today to a ribbon cutting ceremony that unveiled their new reading nook and library in the wellness center, treated to an author reading and writing tutorial, AND students got to select a book to keep. @campbellsupt 📚We are learners 🤝We are collaborators 🛠️We are community builders #wearecampbellusd

District programs and activities shall be free from discrimination,
