Michelle Ha

Michelle Ha is thrilled to be a part of the 5th grade team at Campbell School of Innovation!

Ha believes that if the goal of education is to prepare students for the ever-changing world outside of school, where people are constantly tackling problems, making decisions, and learning from mistakes, then students need opportunities to practice that work while in school. By teaching with a design thinking lens with a goal toward empowerment, she hopes her students to leave her classroom understanding themselves better as learners, human beings, and members of a larger community.

Ha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, and a Master of Education with an Elementary Mathematics Emphasis from UC San Diego. Prior to CSI, she taught in Sunnyvale School District and has worked with Camp Galileo as a Lead Science Instructor.

She lives in her hometown of San Jose with her family. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and video games.
