Website Accessibility

Campbell Union School District is committed to making its websites, documents, and online services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as the standard for the district website (www.campbellusd.org), our school websites, and the content we publish on them. This supports our obligations under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we are doing

  • Reviewing our websites with automated and manual accessibility testing, and fixing barriers we find.
  • Building accessibility into the shared templates used across district and school pages, including keyboard access, sufficient color contrast, text alternatives for images, and support for zoom and screen readers.
  • Training staff who publish web content to provide accessible text, images, documents, and video.
  • Considering accessibility when we select and use third-party websites and applications.

Report a barrier or request an accessible format

If any part of our websites, a document, or an online service is difficult for you to use, please let us know. We will work with you to provide the information or service in a way that works for you, such as an accessible document, another format, or direct assistance.

When you contact us, it helps to include the web address (URL) of the page, a description of the problem, and how we can reach you.

Third-party content

Some of our pages link to or embed services provided by other organizations, such as online forms, video, maps, and payment or registration systems. If you have trouble using one of these services, contact us and we will help you get the information or complete the task another way.

Nondiscrimination

The district does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its programs, services, or activities. You may also file a complaint through our Uniform Complaint Procedures. Learn more on our Title IX and Nondiscrimination page.
