Bachelor's Degree - SUNY Fredonia
Master's Degree in Advanced Teaching
I was born and raised in Western New York and grew up in the small college town of Geneseo on Conesus Lake. I spent much of my youth fishing, swimming, and getting into good trouble. I attended SUNY Fredonia, where I participated in the award-winning Fredonia/Hamburg student teaching program, and later returned to Geneseo to earn my master’s degree. I also served as a senior counselor at a summer camp for children with special needs.
I have been a dedicated teacher and coach since 1998. I taught second grade in Dansville, New York, for 10 years and coached girls’ and boys’ swim teams, as well as the tennis team. I love teaching at Village School—it is the best school I have ever worked at. I deeply value the supportive community we have here and am grateful to work in such a positive and welcoming environment each day.
I currently live near the beach in Santa Cruz with my wife and two children. As a family, we love traveling, camping, hiking, and spending time at the beach. In my free time, I enjoy cheering for my favorite sports teams—the Bills, Yankees, Knicks, and Sabres—while also happily supporting my adopted local teams (Go Niners! Go Dubs!). I also enjoy playing the guitar, reading, swimming, and surfing whenever possible.
