About Me:
I have always enjoyed school and have very fond memories of my own experiences as a student. I think this nudged me towards the field of education. For over a dozen years I taught sixth grade and coached a variety of sports, loving every minute of it. I have also worked as a math coach and middle school and elementary school administrator within the Campbell Union School District. Seeing kids improve, achieve, and feel confident is a terrific feeling for everyone involved. Being an administrator now affords me the opportunity to help more than a single classroom of students achieve.
Education as we have known it is undergoing tremendous changes, and while sometimes unnerving, it is exciting to be a part of change, providing what students need under current circumstances and future predictions. Ultimately, I believe it is our responsibility to provide students the tools necessary to create potential solutions to perceived obstacles so that they may flourish as a whole person.
In my spare time, I love to run in the hills of Los Gatos, spend time with my family, including my wife who is also in the Campbell Union School District and our son who is a first year college student, and read.
