Welcome to 7th Grade English and Social Studies/History at Rolling Hills Middle School. I'm looking forward to an exciting and engaging year.

I have been teaching for 20 years, focusing primarily on both English and Social Studies/History in 7th & 8th Grades. I really enjoy working with this age group. They are inquisitive, energetic, and enthusiastic. During the course of a year, they are both students AND teachers, as well as learners AND leaders. It's a joy to help them all grow into caring and confident individuals.

I encourage students to communicate with me if they are having concerns or difficulties, so we can work together to solve the problems.  This "advocating for self" is one skill they need to learn to be successful as they move forward.
