I have been teaching science in CUSD since 2010.  I love teaching science, specifically to middle schoolers, as they are old enough to understand real world problems, but still young enough to be excited and impressionable.  It is my goal to encourage my students to become independent critical thinkers that are able to form their own opinions that will help to shape the world around them.  I firmly believe that it is my job to not only teach them science, but to prepare them to be successful in high school and beyond.  

Outside of school, I spend my time chasing around my lovable and energetic 2 year old daughter.
