I got my bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz and worked in the legal profession for 5 years before leaving the legal profession, and stumbling upon a profound love of teaching while working as a substitute teacher. I have since returned to school to obtain my teaching credential and my masters degree in education, also from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
